Balloon Design
Organic garlands, full arches, columns and ceiling installations, all mixed by hand in your palette. Balloons are usually the first thing guests see and the last thing they stop photographing, so I treat them like the centerpiece they are.

Draping & Backdrops
Fabric draping, backdrop walls and photo moments that quietly hide what you'd rather not see and frame what you love. Perfect for banquet halls, fire halls and family-favorite venues that just need a little softening.

Centerpieces & Table Setting Design
Tall or low centerpieces, dramatic or understated, designed so your guests can still see each other and talk across the table. Layered with linens, chargers, napkin treatments, place cards and candlelight so the last seat feels as cared for as the head table. Pretty matters, but so does the way the whole night feels.

Personalized Signage & Details
Welcome signs, seating displays, bar menus, favor styling and the little inside-joke details that make people smile. This is where your celebration stops looking generic and starts looking like you.

Décor Rentals
Doing it yourself but need the big pieces? You're welcome to rent arches, plinths, cylinders and easels with or without design help. Availability moves quickly on popular dates, so it's worth asking early.

Full-Service Event Décor & Styling
The full experience: design concept, sourcing, styling and on-site setup, so everything in the room speaks the same language. You get to arrive as a guest instead of a project manager. We'll confirm the scope and setup details together before your date.

What areas does Be A Little Extra serve?+
I'm based right here in the Pittsburgh area and design celebrations throughout Pittsburgh and the Greater Pittsburgh Area. If you're a little outside the region, please still reach out — travel is often possible depending on your date and the scope of the event.
What types of events do you decorate?+
Weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthdays and milestone parties, graduations, corporate events, private dinners, holiday gatherings and themed celebrations. If you're celebrating something that isn't on this list, I'd genuinely love to hear about it.
Do you offer balloon décor?+
Yes, and it's one of my very favorite things to design. Garlands, arches, columns and custom installations are all built by hand in whatever palette you have in mind.
Do you offer full event decorating?+
Absolutely. You can bring me in for one statement piece, or hand over the whole room and I'll take it from concept through setup so you're free to enjoy the day.
Can you create custom décor based on my theme?+
That's the fun part. Bring your theme, your colors, a Pinterest board or one half-formed idea, and we'll shape it together into a design that feels cohesive and personal.
Do you offer décor rentals?+
Yes — arches, pedestals, cylinders and easels are all available to rent for your date, subject to availability. Just let me know what you need and I'll check the calendar.
How far in advance should I book my event?+
Earlier is always safer, especially for weekend and holiday dates — but it never hurts to ask. Send me your date and I'll tell you right away whether it's open.
Do you provide setup and teardown?+
Setup is included with full-service décor bookings, so you're never the one on a ladder in your good clothes. Teardown and pickup depend on your venue's rules, and we'll spell all of it out in your quote.
